Our Mom has been so busy. She with others are trying to stop a nasty puppymill from starting up in Minnesota. It's such a sad thing. There are thousands of unwanted dogs in the country...why do we need another puppymill? So many beautiful dogs are put to sleep everyday because someone dumped them or abandoned them, or for some other poor excuse. People just don't get it...when you get a dog it's for life...not for however long it takes to get tired of it. You are responsible for that life...just as if it was your own child. Maybe we shouldn't say that because some people in the world don't regard a child's life as sacred either. Getting a puppy or adopting a dog is a serious decision. Dogs offer unconditional love...they want nothing more than to be fed, watered, kept safe, warm. and LOVED. It is proven that your blood pressure and your general heath will improve while petting and loving a dog.
So please...if considering getting a puppy...go to reputable breeders...not hobby breeders, pet stores, or puppymills. Go to the Animal Shelters, ASPCA, or Humane Society's...adopted an unwanted puppy or dog. They aren't bad...just unwanted.
